    FOUNDER & CHIEF TECH. OFFICER

    Founded Lignin Industries in 2018. Extensive experience in biomass utilization and entrepreneurship. Also serves as a board member in deep-tech companies, Papershell and EcoHelix that has a common focus on leveraging and enhancing biomass sourced from the forest industry to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels.

    Joined Lignin Industries 2023. 30 years’ experience in leadership and sales-focused organisations on a global basis. Specialising in solution services and packaging development, covering a wide spectrum of segments from retail, FMCG, automotive and footwear & apparel. His career spans all sectors of packaging from paper, polymer and design.

    CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

    Joined Lignin Industries 2019. Extensive experience in scale-up and development projects in the chemical industry. Been in charge of scaling the RENOL® process from lab scale to tonne scale, and in charge of production and product development of RENOL®.

    CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

    Joined Lignin Industries 2025. Brings over 15 years of experience in strategy, growth and corporate finance from both global corporations and growth companies. Prior roles include Junior Partner with McKinsey, as well as roles with Carnegie Investment Bank, McDonald’s and Electrolux.

    Joined Lignin Industries Jan 2024 as senior advisor marketing strategy. CMO since Sep 2024. 35 years of experience in Marketing, Communication and Sustainability from various industries. Long term background of working with B2B, B2C, circular economy, branding strategy and implementation, design development and product management at global company Tarkett. 

    Education: BSc in Business Administration, University of Uppsala. Studies in Art History, Psychology, Professional writing and languages at Stockholm University.

    Board member of Lignin Industries since 2018. Founder & CEO of Exeger Sweden, a clean tech company that develops Dye Sensitized Solar Cells to harvest solar energy efficiently. Been a Board Member, Vice President and Partner of Nanologica AB, a Nano Tech material company that focuses on the bio-tech and drug delivery sector. Also been a Senior Advisor at the KTH Applied Finance Institute.

  • Catherine Carrick

    BOARD MEMBER

    Catherine Carrick is founder of Kvarteret K, a company specializing in construction project management. With a strong background as a construction engineer, Catherine brings technical expertise and leadership. Catherine has also been engaged in multiple sustainable startups.

    Catherine provides a main owner representative perspective, ensuring alignment between business strategy and ownership goals.

    Education: Civil engineering degree in Road and water engineering, Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.

  • Ulf Vucetic

    BOARD MEMBER

    Ulf brings deep expertise in finance and investment banking. From 2015 to 2022, he served as the Lead for Carnegie Nordic Investment Banking. Ulf’s leadership at Carnegie IB established him as a key figure in Nordic finance.

    In addition, Ulf has been an active investor in multiple startups. His in-depth knowledge of financing and investment structures makes him a valuable asset in driving growth and ensuring financial sustainability.

  • Christina “Ina” Brodin

    BOARD MEMBER

    Board member since 2025. Christina graduated in Civil Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2002.

    Christina is a Freelancer since 2016. She is Swedish and lives and works in Italy since 2005. Christina has more than 20 years of consulting experience within M&A/Transaction Services as well as Compliance and Risk/Business Continuity Control in the Supply Chain.

    Her consultancy services are within the Environmental, Health & Safety, and Social fields (i.e. EHS, sustainability, ESG) towards medium/large scale industries on international basis.

  • Per-Anders “PA“ Enkvist

    BOARD MEMBER

    Board member since 2025. PA has 25 years of experience of consulting on green and sustainability topics, with a focus on materials industries. He was a partner at McKinsey, where he co-led the global sustainability practice, and then founded and grew Material Economics, a specialist sustainability strategy consultancy. He has published one book and 25+ reports on green and sustainability topics.  

    PA holds a M.Sc in Engineering Physics and a B.Sc in International Business.

    Senior executive with broad experience in leading international industrial companies through transformation and growth. Has held CEO and leadership roles at Algol Chemicals, Berkshire Hathaway, AkzoNobel, and Colorama. Extensive background in restructuring, strategic development, and international business expansion. Proven track record of turning around underperforming units and leading change in industrial and sectors.

    Currently active as a Senior Advisor and board member, with a passion for combining business development with sustainable innovation and leadership mentoring. Has also served as chairman and board member in Nordic franchise chains.
